Alex Sutherland – Team Leader Consulting

Congratulations to Alex on the passing of her Ph.D. confirmation. Alex is completing a Ph.D. in the area of school effectiveness.

Alex has done an excellent job in preparing a 10,000 word summary of her Ph.D. and the relevant literature. As part of the confirmation process, she was required to present this work to an audience of Ph.D. students and academic reviewers. Her reviewers included two senior academics in the field of psychology, including one who has been involved in the research and transformation of the Norwegian education system, as well as a professor of management who is also an editor of one of the most prestigious management journals – Academy of Management Learning and Education. The reviewers provided excellent feedback and were very complimentary about the quality of Alex’s work, the quality of her writing, and the significance of her research in helping us to better understand school effectiveness. She passed without amendment, and we are all very proud of her achievement.
